This year I went off the rails. I was looking for something different for spring minis, something I (or someone else) hadn’t done before, and this idea grabbed me. One kid, one roll of film, with nothing but a plain backdrop (in my GARAGE…totally transparency here). Honestly, I really thought no one would sign up for these. But within a few hours of the email being sent my spots were booked and I had added two more days. Have I mentioned lately that my clients are the best ones?
Y’all, I LOVED how they turned out. Taking away the distractions of a background environment let me focus on the heart of each child; their smiles, unique personalities, and little details that give a glimpse of who they will become.
Let me know in the comments or elsewhere: who’s interested in doing these again? More transparency: I get bored doing the same things over and over, so I’ll have to switch something up! I would definitely want to try them indoors instead (so they could be summer minis?), and I’m also considering ALL black and white! Y’all think on it and I will too.
